Technically, aren't the SHS idiots up to sixth or seventh curve by now?
I mean, the cops keep noticing the gathering points and those who wanted to fight had to go farther up the road. I'm pretty sure they had already moved beyond the third curve by my second year in high school, though the original designation had stuck.
If you threaten someone at Truman with "takin' it to seventh curb," you sound like an idiot. The third curb threat still sounds idiotic, but the smaller amount of syllabus helps you sound more threatening and less English major.
Naturally, if you're me, this threat also works best if you're holding a shoe with a sizable heel in one hand at the same time, ready to attack.
